"OK Fools" is Japan's first "Fools Paper" developed by Peng Paper Industry (formerly Kikuta Paper Store). "Fools paper" is synonymous with high-end writing paper. In the Meiji era, high-quality writing paper was imported from England, and it seems that the watermark of "clown / clown hat" was included. It was named "OK" because it was made at the Oji Paper Kokura Mill, but it is now made at the Nippon Paper Industries Yatsushiro Mill.
