Kenji Nakayama
Kenji Nakayama is a Hokkaido-born, Boston-based visual artist and sign painter. After moving to the USA, he graduated from the Butera School of Art, a specialist sign-painting school. He has worked on the designs for many billboards, along with many art projects and designs for company branding.
About the Works
"I tend to practice on white paper, and that's what inspired me to be a part of this project. My unstructured, scribbly script expresses the way I never follow guidelines—my focus is on the rhythm of my writing and the balance between the letters and the white paper."
