The inspiration for his career came from his friend's reaction to some artistic cookies he made as an anniversary present—his friend's face apparently lit up like a child's.
About the Works
"I bake a cake or cookies every day. I'm always thinking about who I can gift them to. People's birthdays only come once a year, so I want them to be special. Food is impermanent by definition, so I want to make sure people are left with great memories. That's the kind of experience I want my notebook to be."
