This pen writes very smooth! It does have a thicker line than expected. The box was disappointing as it was not anything of quality as stated. Considering the price if this pen and that it was to come with an elegant box, Olu would have been very disappointed giving this as a gift. But, it is just a box if you plan on using the pen for yourself.

The diary body and case are gold-foil-stamped for a luxurious feel. The 1st year is the 1st row, the 2nd year is the 2nd row... You can write while looking back at the events of the previous year.
