This pen writes very smooth! It does have a thicker line than expected. The box was disappointing as it was not anything of quality as stated. Considering the price if this pen and that it was to come with an elegant box, Olu would have been very disappointed giving this as a gift. But, it is just a box if you plan on using the pen for yourself.

The Pilot Frixion Point is part of the Frixion Series. It is a cap type, erasable, needle point pen that allows you to write, remove and rewrite without the use of a correction tape.
In 2005 Pilot created 'FriXion'. Today it is still the number 1 erasable pen on the market. FriXion uses unique thermo-sensitive gel ink which disappears once it reaches a temperature of more than 65°C. This can be achieved by using the rubber attached to FriXion pen. The friction caused by rubbing the paper generates heat which causes the ink to become invisible. With no damage to the paper, you can erase and instantly re-write over your mistakes. The ink will reappear if you store your notes in a low temperature( below -10°C)
